At-home whitening is as easy as 1-2-3! Your first appointment is a fast, digital, goop-free impression taken of your teeth. Second, we try in your trays, give you instructions, and answer any questions you have. And third, you wear your trays at night and enjoy your fantastic results! Each appointment in the office is only about 20 minutes. If you choose to boost your whitening with our Kor Max, there is one more in-office treatment which take about 90 minutes.

Fortunately, whitening has not been shown to be harmful to your teeth. Whitening, also known as bleaching, does not weaken tooth enamel or make teeth more prone to cavities or bone loss. In some cases, there is temporary sensitivity in the teeth as the teeth are whitening but this is not a lingering effect or a sign that anything is going badly.

The best way to prepare your teeth is to have them evaluated and cleaned by Exceptional Dentistry. This will ensure there are no other underlying problems with the bone, gums, or teeth and that the teeth can fully absorb the bleach and look their best.

At Exceptional Dentistry, we recommend the Kor Bleaching System. This is a proven leader in the field whose results are outstanding. Typically, bleaching is maintained for years after initial use. We do recommend intermittent bleaching throughout the year to maintain your beautiful white smile!
